Finished the Dress!
Yes! I finished the dress - all done in brick beading. Brick beading is faster but not fast enough!!
Now on to finishing the next girl's dress and doing the background up to girl number 6 and I will be all caught up. Hopefully Ruth will keep to her promise to finish this in the next few months.

Row of Ladies Progress
Hi all,
I'm back working on my Row of Ladies which was to be my summer 2019! project. I thought I had misplaced the last lesson when I moved but after talking to Ruth it appears she has yet to write the stitch guide for that last girl. So I decided to try and catch up in order to get ready!
I've pretty much finished lady #3 and have now slogged through half the background. Let me tell you there are a LOT of beads in the background...and they are cross stitched so have to be done twice.

After finishing this girl I skipped to the fifth girl because girl number 4's dress is completely beaded and I needed to do some needlepoint for once. Here she is - I'm switching between needlepoint and beading to keep my sanity!

Stay safe this week

Roo Bear Pocket
Here's the latest canvas on the Roo Bear. There are 10 and I have now completed 8....meaning only 2 more!
I seem to have an endless supply of half finished projects which I am slowly working through. Here's the next one. Another Valentine House - sweet! A change of color scheme for sure.

There!
This weekend I will continue on with Roo Bear's pocket and another Christmas ornament.
I have to say it is nice to work through my unfinished projects and stash!

Almost there
Hi there,
I'm almost done with my fall basket - just have to do the inside of the sunflower now. I had to overcome my brain block with the raised fishbone stitch on the sunflower leaves. Mary Corbet has the best videos on every stitch. I just had to watch and watch and watch until the lights came on. Even though the lights came on I didn't take out the original leaves. After several months they looked good enough!

Now I'm going to try and finish another Roo Bear canvas - this is the candy pocket on the front of the bear. I had to do some ripping last night when it didn't line up correctly so this is what it looked like at 11:30 PM. It might still not line up but I'll check it again this afternoon. There comes a point in everyone's day when you just need to put it down 😅
